Psalm 127: God's Blessing in the Home
Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord guards the city,
the guard keeps watch in vain.
In is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest,
eating the bread of anxious toil:
for he provides for his beloved during sleep.
Psalm 128: The Happy Home of the Faithful
Happy is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walk in his ways.
You shall eat the fruit of labor of your hands;
you shall be happy, and it shall go well with you.
Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
Thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.
The Lord bless you from Zion.
May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
May you see your children's children.
