I neglected to order the most darling photograph of my daughter actually receiving her First Communion last year from a professional photographer. When I finally got around to ordering it (one year later!) I discovered that the company only keeps images on file for the past 6 months. They are "looking, but the chances are not good."
We all know that Our Blessed Mother can work miracles. Can you say a quick prayer that they find the image for me?

I have no pics of any of that stuff, but I treasure it in my heart, as I know my mother does.
And the pics for my daughter's baptism didn't come out.
Ah, well. Think of those poor parents pre-camera invention.

I said a prayer and really hope they find it. But if not, then I pray that you and she will still be able to cherish the memory of the day. I don't think I have any photos of my first communion, if that's any consolation.
