Baptism News

The only good thing about getting your Lenten baby "frozen" out of an immediate baptism, is that you get to baptize her on Easter Sunday! Hurrah!

Your parish won't baptize during Lent?! That's not right...

Regardless, Easter Sunday is indeed an awesome baptism day! I wish we'd have had that option with my middle daughter (born on a Friday during Lent, but not baptized until a week or two after Easter).

Our parish doesn't do baptisms during Lent either. Or Easter Sunday. But the weekend after... lots! (Including our coming baby3, so long as the godparents can get their paperwork in!)

I didn't know babies weren't baptized during Lent, but Easter will be wonderful.

Well Easter Sunday is a pretty good consolation prize. Hooray for baby Clare!
